Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN) is the most common precursor to pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

Our Research

Our lab studies pancreatic regeneration and cancer. Both tissue regeneration and cancer rely on complex interactions between cells that provide necessary signals for each process, and cells that are receptive to those signals. In particular, we are interested in determining the role of macrophages and a subset of progenitor-like cells during pancreatic regeneration and cancer progression.
